On Dec 4, 2024 I receive an email from YouTube telling me that they had removed the In Amsterdam video for "Violation of community standards".  They pointed to the content at 34 seconds into the video as the "cause" for their action on the basis of "Hate Speech".

I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe that their action was taken because a YouTube robot or apparatchik doesn't comprehend the visual satire of a mob of Israelis in Amsterdam chanting "Fuck the Arabs" as a visual context for the following lyric commenting on the fact that Israel supporters get away with much more than those of us who oppose Genocide are allowed.

'There are no schools in Gaza 'cause we killed all the kids", did the hooligans chant that, why yes they did, in the center of town they went on the offensive 'People' (the media) respond that might make sense ... unless the thugs are Jewish, then Truth's on the lam, In Amsterdam."

Rather than they thought that David's lyrics offended the new USA Big Tech/Political "standards" where opposition to the STATE of Israel's actions, Zionism, Genocide and US financing and arming of it is grounds for serious and egregious censorship by Big Tech as "antisemitism".

And of course, it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to have a discussion about anything with that monolithic monopoly in order to explain political context and the meaning of satire to them. But I'm trying.
